Easter was nice and sunny, but quite chilly in MA this year. We missed Michael and Doug, but remembered them with a toast. We did notice, however, that with Michael absent there was considerably more smoked salmon for the rest of us to enjoy...and enjoy we did along with the roast lamb and ham which was expertly prepared by chef Theresa. Caitlin and I baked and decorated the requisite Easter egg cookies which have been a staple since Caitlin was two!!! Some traditions go on and on and on.....One tradition that we passed on though was the egg hunt, which became almost dangerously competitive last year. Hopefully next year, we will not be missing any participants and the hunt will be on once again!
Check it out Grandma is free of her cast!!!!!

Mmmmmm, good looking cookies! Maybe next year you can FedEx some of those to the west coast! We miss you all -
cookies!!!! I so want some.
While mitz was being adored by annabel, I was all alone in a empty hotel room in dc. woe is me.
cookies!!!!
Ditto Richard. I'd take one of those cookies over muggy weather and tourist-mobbed cherry blossoms any day of the week.
By the way, hi, Gingras clan. Be sure to thank Mitzi for upping your site traffic with unsuspecting college students...
